Ernie & Emily Vallorano alongside with Katharine Marinaro, launched 27 miles malibu in August of 2012. Together the trio have over 30 years experience working in fashion and manufacturing. Recognizing a void in the market, the trend-setting trio set out to design a diverse lifestyle collection for women in search of stylish knits and separates with a modern edge. For the woman’s collection Katharine provides the creative direction and Emily the technical design. Ernie provides the creative direction for the new men’s line, which makes its debut in Fall 2015. The Vallorano’s own the factory in China, where their team sources the fabrics and manufacture’s both collections. This ensures that 27 miles malibu can offer high quality knits, exceptionally crafted designs that are also affordable.
